Around the island by boat you can admire, in addition to the transparency of the sea, the beautiful cliffs processed by the forces of nature, beaches and charming towns, the typical white houses, lying along the beach or hillside. Starting from the island tour by boat Rinella, Salina also reveals its volcanic nature through the picturesque valleys of volcanic peaks terminals. THE DRIED HEAD: This is a rocky area that rises to the surface, surrounded by depths of several hundred meters deep. References that fishermen use to find the place are three: the stack of Pollara must appear in the t hole of "Punta Perciato"; Mount Rose must be one with the tip Castagna, while the rock of the ship must "do canalicchio" with Panarea that form a "V" without being completely detached from the slopes of the island. Down to the water a depth between 40 and 45 meters. From here you will have a vision of spetacolare dry completely enveloped by a cloud of black "guarracino" contrasting violently with the whiteness of the rock and the blue sea. The bottom is made of large rocks, rich in fish den. What changes here than other areas is the probability of dramatic encounters with fish size out of the ordinary, especially for pelagic species.

THE DRY OF POLLARA: Coming from our Village & Camping, once dubbed "Punta Perciato", we enter the spectacular bay of Pollara. Certainly not be the eye of a geologist to realize that you are inside an ancient crater. The dry is a few hundred meters. Off the rock to emerge at the center of the cove there are huge boulders and towering, more than ten meters high and close together, forming a continuous and extensive rock structure: peaks, valleys, sandy trails behind the walls, similar to streams that flow into a canyon. Among the impressive bottom rocks are beautiful anemones, vast colonies of yellow sponges by osculum prominent and beautiful rock walls, enriched by the ramifications of the yellow sea fans. The rocky ravines are full of conger and moray eels.
